Gem Apartment 2 - Courtyard I Coffee I Beach I Wifi

Although the images weren't quite accurate, the property was clean and in a great location.

Listing information and pictures were NOT accurate. This was very disappointing as I picked this house based on some of the specifics shown in the photos/listing.Listing said:Bedroom 1: Queen bed (and had aircon in picture). However this was a different queen bed to the picture and the bed was pushed against a wall in a small room with no aircon or fan. Bedroom 2: 3 single beds. However this was a queen bed and a single bed.Listing also said parking, however this was actually street parking.Very basic house. Would have been great to have a broom/vacuum and basic cleaning supplies as we were there for 7 days. Listing also claimed to have butter and honey, but instead had vegemite and peanut butter. I wasn't worried about that, but again the listing was inaccurate. Positives - We found the location good.

Gem2 is a run down apartment that has lacked appropriate maintenance. The list of problems is long and I won’t go into detail here but it’s pretty unacceptable to be listing this place as described, with the pictures which are grossly misleading. We were moved to Gem1. This apartment was better but also had its issues (such as no working oven). There were other issues with our stay which were inconvenienced by the move of apartments, the problems in Gem1 apartment - just stay elsewhere as it’s not worth the price they are asking.

A very well equipped and clean unit located in a central, quiet area.

The property was fabulous & so easy to get to the city. I have mobility issues & being ground floor was wonderful. Enjoyed the outdoor area as well. We had a 15month old with us so a safe enclosed area was great too. Will be back
